Are you an e-mail junkie? I think many of us don’t want to admit it, but deep down, we know we are! By this, I mean, do you check your e-mail several times during the day (like 100 times?!) Okay, so maybe you’re not that bad, but wouldn’t it be easier to have your e-mail check itself?
Believe it or not, you can do that with Outlook Express! You can set your e-mail to check every five minutes or every hour. Whatever you want! Sound good? I thought you might like that. All you have to do is open Outlook Express and go to Tools, Options and choose the General tab. Look toward the middle of the box under the Send/Receive Messages section.
The very last choice there is “Check for new messages every (blank) minutes.” Check that box and then choose the amount of time you want your e-mail to be checked. You can either use the up and down arrows to set your time or just type it in. Then right below that, there is an option if your computer isn’t connected to the Internet at the time of the scheduled check. You can either choose for it to not connect you, connect only when working offline or connect even when working offline.
Either way you go, your e-mail will never miss a checkpoint and you won’t miss any news! It doesn’t get any better than that!
