Are you a user of Word 2007 who also tends to use a lot of text boxes in your documents?
If you’re anything like me then you see this sight all the time…
And what do you get from it?
A plain text box that needs a ton of formatting to become anything that’s visually interesting.
Next time you’re looking for a text box with a sense of style try using one from the Text Box button located further down the Insert tab of the Ribbon.
Clicking the button reveals a variety of ready-to-go text boxes.
Choose one and you’re most of the way to that great look we all hope to give to our documents.
Oh, and as always, you can move, resize and otherwise change formatting (color, font, etc…) of the text box. The big advantage of these is that it shouldn’t take forever to make it just what you need.
