EMachine vs. Other Brand Names

Friday, July 21st, 2006 by | Filed Under: Uncategorized

Is there really any difference between an EMachine and the other computer brand names, such as Dell, HP or Compaq?

This is the perfect question for anyone who is thinking about buying a new computer in the near future. If you are, you’re probably in the middle of weighing pros and cons between the different big name computer brands. You’re probably busy trying to seeing what all you can get from each company that is most worth your money. (You know, a “how big of a bang for your buck” type of thing!)

As you all know, there’s so much to consider when buying a new computer (whether it be for yourself, for your child to use in college or even for your grandchildren to play games on), it’s important to look into every aspect and get what will work best for you.

Now, back to the original question. To be honest, I can really only answer that question with “it’s your own opinion.” EMachines work just like any other computer and to some people, they probably work better than a Dell or an HP brand machine. But, on the other hand, there’s probably several people out there who would say a Dell works much better than anything. Some of you may even prefer a Gateway or to build your own computer. Any way you go, you just have to choose what will meet all of your needs at the moment and you just have to go with your gut feeling.

Some testimonials that I found said that EMachines come with a better price and they work just fine, while others said they’ve experienced several technical problems with them. And of course, I found some that said Dell computers work fantastic, but their customer service isn’t the greatest. So, as you can see, it’s really all in your own opinion. An HP or a Compaq may be just what you’re looking for at the price you want, but an EMachine could do the same things for you too, so it really just depends on your preferences.

Of course, when you’re looking for a computer, some things you want to look for is the amount of memory it holds, the processing speed, the type of graphics card it uses, if it has a wireless card or not (if you’re interested in that), if it has a CD burner or not, the warranties included with it, etc. So, all in all, either way you go and whichever computer you buy, you should end up with everything you’ve always wanted!
