Welcome to Everyday Health where you’ll find an assortment of health information, tips, symptom checker, drug information, and so much more!
Navigation is easy! There are navigation tabs across the top of the page with links to the major categories: Health A-Z, Drugs A-Z, Symptom Checker, Food and Fitness, Community, and Health Tools. Then if you scroll down the main page you’ll find the latest in health news, featured articles, diet and weight loss groups, and more!
Registering for an account here provides you with the ability to join the discussions around the site, create a blog, and to track your exercise and diet progress.
Registration is free and easy. You can log in with your preferred network (Facebook, Yahoo, Twitter, LinkedIn, Windows Live, or AOL) or you can create an account using the registration form. I just used the F-connect option for Facebook, and then filled out the form to link my account. But if you want to use the form you will need to provide your e-mail address, name, gender, birth date, country, zip code, and create a username and password. You can also check the boxes for the types of health information that you are interested in. Then click the blue Register & Continue button.
Then the site will present you an offer that you can skip, and a selection of recommended newsletters based on your interests. You will also be given the option to save and continue creating your profile, or saving and skipping the profile creation. I’ll be honest; I always skip creating a profile so that I can get right to exploring the site. Then if it ends up being a site I use all the time I go back and fill out the profile.
You’ll then be sent a welcome message to your inbox on the site, and a welcome e-mail to the e-mail address that you provided. The welcome message will give you a rundown of six different things you can do to get started, or you can be wild and just go explore the site!
This site has a lot of great features that makes it worth bookmarking for later visits like the symptom checker and medication information. Plus, you can stay on top of the latest in health news. So why don’t you check it out today?
