In the last year or two there have been farmers markets that have cropped around different parts of Toledo. It’s always interesting to go see what they have to offer. Some have been great, others not so much. It would have been nice to be able to check out a review before heading there.
Well now, I can with Farmer’s Map! Well if they’re on the map that is. Being a San Diego based company there are a lot of farm stand reviewed and entered for that area. There are also lot entered on the East Coast, and just a few speckled throughout the middle of the country.
The only way to change that is to mouse over Contact and then select add a listing of the markets in your area (just make sure you choose the free bullet)! The only way it will grow is if people enter in place and review them!
Navigation options are plenty on the site. You can use the navigation tabs at the top of the page, you can brows by day with the list on the right side of the page, and you can even click on the map markers and browse that way. On the main page you’ll also find a ticker recent reviews and a listing of recently added farmers markets and stands.
This is a great way to check out local farmer’s markets, or add the ones near you so other folks can check them out. I’m going to get the details of the one in Toledo and add it.
