solution:
first select when firefox starts:show my windows and tabs from last time

Thanks to your excellent tip on a very annoying crashes due to overloading overflow with blue screen. I have yet to try out to see if my so called upgraded Firefox has the necessary to be effective.

“Don’t Load tabs until selected” does not appear on my computer under tools-options, general as you describe.
