By now, you probably know what a puzzle addict I am. So I can’t begin to tell you how delighted I was when I found this site! This site has tons of puzzles that you can play online and even puzzles you can print out.
The puzzle categories are:
Antique Puzzle Cards – these are really cool! If you click into this section you will see what looks like a bunch of antique cards. Each puzzle is listed with where it is from, the size it is, and when it was copyrighted. What you have to do is look at the puzzle cards and see if you can find the person, or item that is hidden in the image. I freely admit that I had to solve several of them with help from the solution link!
Puzzle Jump Station – If you didn’t get your fill of puzzles from this site, they go one step further, and provide you with links to other puzzle sites around the web! (I love mazes, so I have to recommend you visit clickmazes from off the list.)
Optical Illusions – here you will find optical illusions that date back as far as 1886. Can you figure these illusions out?
Do-It-Yourself Puzzles – these are puzzles that you can print out and the cut into the required pieces to challenge yourself to solve. I think that this would be a really fun activity for kids.
Online Sudoku – Here you can play Sudoku online for free. There are three difficulty levels with fifty puzzles each. I have discovered I am still terrible at Sudoku by trying to play this game.
Online Word Puzzles – I love word puzzles, so I was very happy to spend some of my time here playing at solving these puzzles. Just click the starting or ending letter and drag your mouse to highlight the word.
Printable Sudoku – here you can print out Sudoku puzzles to solve offline! Just click the puzzle you’d like to select, and then print it out. You can also print out the solutions to the puzzles.
Printable Word Puzzles – Here you can find word puzzles to print out for free! I like to print these out and do them while I’m working in the computer lab at school. It gives me something to do if the day is slow. There are puzzles for anyone, and then there are also puzzled that are geared towards kids. You can print out both the puzzle and the solution.
The Magical Envelope Puzzle – this is a bewildering puzzle, you’ll have to download it and print it out. But when you arrange it one way there are 14 envelopes and if you arrange it another way only 13. Where does the extra envelope go? Can you figure it out?
At any time you want to return to the free puzzle page, click Free Fun off the navigation strip at the top of the page.
I bookmarked this page, so I could come back and do puzzles whenever I wanted to. I hope you’ll like it enough to do the same!
