Gmail Web Clips

So, there I was, sifting through my Gmail inbox the other day, when I noticed a little arrow in the upper right-hand corner, begging to be clicked. I was pretty sure that it had something to do with the ads Gmail displays at the top of the inbox, but I let my curiosity get the better of me and clicked anyways.

Turns out, it’s not just ads. As I clicked, I noticed ┬áthat the ads turned into informational snippets pulled from places like ESPN.com, Wired.com, Dictionary.com and other places. I got recipes, news, the “Word of the Day” and sports stories as I clicked the arrow.

You learn something new every day, I guess! Give it a try today, Gmail users!
