Another nail in the coffin of Google’s slowly dying social network, Google Plus. The company is shutting down what most considered the best feature of the service, Google + Photos.
Google isn’t doing away with its photo services, it’s just switching everything over to Google Photos! Users will need to download the new Google Photos app which offers the ability to backup, edit and share photos along with unlimited storage of your images.
However, many users were complaining on the Google + blog that they don’t think that Google Photos has the same editing capabilities as Google + photos.
The Google + Photos app will stop working soon. Your photos will still be available in your account at http://photos.google.com. You can download the Google Photos app from the Google Play Store.
