Everything seems to be going 3D these days, and Google Maps is no exception. So, if you have a pair of the old red and blue anaglyph 3D glasses laying around, then make your way over to your favorite spot in Google Maps, zoom in to street view and right click. In the menu that pops up, choose 3D mode on.
You’ll notice that the view gets a little blurry, with a red and blue tinge. If you have your 3D glasses handy, put them on and prepare to be wowed!
To turn 3D of, simply right-click again and choose 3D Mode off.
That’s all there is to it! It might not be “Avatar”, but it’s still a neat trick!
