I watched your video on YouTube regarding Windows Movie Maker, making DVDs. When I get the drop down menu there is no ‘Burn DVD’ icon. I have Windows 8.1 (which I don’t like very much!!) Can you help please?
Beryl, you don’t see that option because there is no built-in DVD burner in Windows 8.1. You can copy data files to a DVD drive as you would to a USB drive, but if you want to burn a movie to play in a DVD player, you’ll need to purchase a program such a Roxio or a free burner such as ImgBurn designed for that purpose. You’ll have to export the file and then use the third-party program to burn them.
