I cannot transfer files between my PC and Android by using the USB cables .I get nothing on the screen and if i try the hard disk I get removable disk F which when selected, it asks for a CD.
You aren’t the only person to experience this issue and I’ve seen multiple solutions, none of which seem to work for everybody. Here’s something you can try. First, tap Settings on your tablet.
Look around settings to see if Developer options is available. If you don’t see it, we’ll need to turn that function on. Here’s how to do it:
Look around settings for About Device. In this case, it’s all the way down at the bottom. It could be in different places in settings depending on your tablet. You may have to look around. Tap the icon for About Device.
You should see an option for build number. It may be grayed out. Tap it seven times. That’s right seven separate times.
Developer Options should now be available for you. Tap the icon.
Tap the box beside USB Debugging to check it.
Try plugging your device in to your PC and see what happens.
