I have been given an Ampe A77 3G tablet pc,but no user manual, could you either help/advise how I can get to use it. (it is all in Chinese).
These days many devices come with limited or no instruction manuals. My advice for you would be to find out if there is a manufacturer website where downloads of instructions are available.
I found a website for the company at www.szampe.com. There’s a place to download a user manual, but nothing happened when I clicked on it. There is some contact information on that page, but as they appear to be based in China, I can’t promise you’ll get in touch with someone who speaks a language you’re comfortable in, but you could give it a try.
The good news is that I may be able to solve your language problem. The Android operating system is fairly similar across devices and you usually will have the option of choosing from multiple languages.
You’ll want to look for Settings. It may be displayed as a gear like this:
Or it could look like this:
You’ll want to tap that icon and try to find Language and Keyboard settings. The icon resembles the letter A. Tap the A.
Then select Language.
You should see a choice of languages. It could vary from just a few to a long list, depending on the device. Hopefully, you can scroll down and find your preferred language.
If you are unfamiliar with the Android operating system, you could benefit from purchasing a generic guide to Android such as WorldStart’s Android 101.
