I have Windows 7, IE8, premium service pack 1, 64 bit, on a Gateway “all in one”. When I open your E mails they open correctly but when I try to open something like “printer friendly version” or “click here to rate this tip” when the page comes up it is always BEHIND the original page and I must find it and then click on it to make it come to the front. This happens on all web pages not just yours. How may I correct this very annoying process? At 82 I need help please.
What’s happening is that the page the link takes you to is opening a new window and that window is opening behind the current one. The real solution to your problem is to upgrade Internet Explorer. IE8 is not supported by Microsoft and not safe to use.
Upgrade to Internet Explorer 11 and when you click on a link, by default it will open a new tab in the same window and you can just click on the tabs to easily switch back and forth.
