How can I use my exe PC programs on the Android tablet? For instance like the 602 tab program. I’m also wanting a MS Paint program for it but can not find one, do you have any suggestions? Thanks

Cheri, PC programs just aren’t meant to run on the Android system. Windows and Android are two distinctly different operating systems. An Android tablet will perform most of the functions that a home PC user would want, (Web browsing, e-mail, videos, games, word processing etc…) but it won’t do it using your PC programs.

To find programs for your Android device, go to the Google Play store. Sometimes there are are Android app versions of the particular PC program you are using, sometimes not. But you can usually find an app that performs many of the same functions.

Kingsoft Office is a free Office Suite with a spreadsheet program and a quick search of “spreadsheet” in the Google Play Store revealed dozens of apps, both free and paid.

While you won’t find MS Paint in the app store, you can find dozens of similar apps, including the free PaintBush and Infinite Design Free (screenshot pictured below). Many of these apps offer a free version with ads and limited features, that you can upgrade to a paid ad-free version.

Read the reviews to see if you think the app might work for you. If you like what you see, download the app and give it a try.
