HTML Links

If we reviewed the different ways websites are constructed, we would find a variety of HTML techniques used by webmasters. Some of them are related to the way Hyperlinks are enabled online. Let’s take a look at some of these cool styles to have a better understanding of web development. The first thing is to know how simple web links are added to the websites and the way browsers interpret the code.

Assume you want to add a paragraph plus link to your HTML page. Please take a look at this code:
Hello and welcome to my web page.
By saving the code and accessing your page via browser, the following effect would emerge:

One neat trick to use while implementing links is to edit the way accessed pages load on your browser. One technique, which is being broadly used by web admins, is to open a new browser page once a hyperlink is clicked on. Please observe how this option is activated online:
Hello and welcome to my web page.
And the modified link effect would be like this:

Sometimes while browsing the web you may arrive on a page containing links powered by the HTML title tag. This trick results in getting small pop-up messages by the links as you hold you mouse pointer over them. This technique gets activated by addition of a small snippet of code to the sample script;
<a target=”_blank” href=”http://www.worldstart.com” title=”Hello and welcome to my web page.”>Hello and welcome to my web page.
Once the page’s changes have been saved and it loads on your browser it should look like this:

It’s also an interesting idea to frame links by adding a horizontal line on top of the link itself. Please check out this script:
<span style=”text-decoration: overline”><a target=”_blank” href=”http://www.worldstart.com” title=”Hello and welcome to my web page.”>Hello and welcome to my web page.
The effect is called ” Overline” and the edited web link, as you may guess, would be shown as below:
