Just what is humanism? That was a question I found myself asking this semester, as we discussed the Renaissance and how it affected different parts of Europe at different times. So, you know how I am, once I’m curious I have to go find an answer. This site is what I found.
This site offers interesting clarification that not only explains the textbook definition, but what it really is and how it developed over time. As you read through this page, you’ll notice that on the left side of the page there are links. For example, the first one you encounter is Aristotle.
If you click that link, you’re taken to a page on that topic that further expounds a point or explains who an important figure in history was.
If you like what you’ve learned about humanism, you can click the link at the bottom of the page to learn more about the Italian Renaissance.
This was a pretty cool look into the past, check it out today!
