Everyday our lives are becoming more and more enhanced by technology, because of this the risk of our identities being stolen by unscrupulous thieves increases. I have been the victim of identity theft, and I’m grateful everyday that I caught it early and was able to get out of the situation with very little damage done to my credit report, bank account, and peace of mind. Unfortunately that is not the case for most victims of identity theft.
Identity Theft Manifesto is run by a victim of identity theft, Lana. She is bravely telling her story (check out the About section) and providing information and links to resources for other victims of identity theft.
On the main page you’ll find Lana’s book picks, and news that features identity theft. To navigate use the menu strip across the top of the page. Each topic has a drop down menu that you can use to go to specific topics. You will find information on how to prevent identity theft, what makes a good password, how to avoid scams and traps, and a whole lot more!
