Comcast Hopes New App Fixes Its Customer Service Problems
Comcast routinely tops the list of companies with the worst customer service. Now, the company is hoping a new app that works with its latest modem/router can help fix the problem. They say the app will help streamline setting up your network and assist in diagnosing any connectivity issues and troubleshooting problems with any of your devices.
You can even check the connections for all of the devices on your network. Notice that none of this help involves any actual human beings helping you out. But I guess considering some of those videos of super-nasty behavior from their service reps that you can find on YouTube, that may be a good thing. What do you think? Would you rather take your chances on a helpful phone app than deal with making a customer service call? Let us know what you think in the comments.
Breast Pumps Go Wireless
New technology hopes to make life easier for new moms, especially those who work outside the home. The wireless Willow breast pump tucks discreetly inside the nursing mother’s bra and collects milk quietly into a bag while tracking the amount of milk with an app.
Since it is quiet and hands-free, women can continue working or taking care of tasks around the home. The device doesn’t come cheap, it’s expected to retail for around $430.
