Millions Of Debit Cards Compromised

More than 3 million debit cards were affected by a security breach at least 19 Indian banks. Customers have complained of large withdrawals from their accounts and the banks are asking users to change their PIN numbers.

The problem seems to be related to malware on the ATM network.

Linux PCs At Risk From Flaw

A vulnerability that could allow hackers to take control of  your computer has been discovered in the Linux OS. It turns out this problem has been around for almost a decade and it affects computers, router, servers, and other devices. The flaw has been named Dirty Cow.

It appears that hackers have already taken advantage of this flaw. Patches are already being issued. If you use a Linux distribution like Ubuntu, you’ll need to go to the website for that particular distro and download the patches.

 Tesla Makes All Models Self-Driving

The man behind Tesla believes the future of cars is in self-driven vehicles. Elon Musk announced that all new Tesla vehicles will be built with self-driving hardware. He said, “Self-driving vehicles will play a crucial role in improving transportation safety and accelerating the world’s transition to a sustainable future. Full autonomy will enable a Tesla to be substantially safer than a human driver, lower the financial cost of transportation for those who own a car and provide low-cost on-demand mobility for those who do not.”

It might be a few years before it’s activated, but the vehicles will be ready for a future where the majority of cars are self-driven.
