Goodbye Headphone Jacks?
According to reports, Apple’s iPhone 7 will be super-slim and do away with the familiar 3.5 mm headphone jack. Instead, you’ll connect your headphones via your lightning port. That means your old headphones will need to be replaced with headphones or earbuds that fit that port if you still want to use them.
Or you could just use Bluetooth headphones. But your days of grabbing a cheap pair of earbuds at the gas station when yours die may be over for iPhone users.
Facebook Gives You A Happy Old Year
If you use Facebook, you’ve probably seen the Year in Review Posts. Click on them and you can see highlights of your year or highlights for a friend from 2015.
For the most part, expect to only see happy memories. Facebook isn’t including photos that seem to be relate to sad times, such as the death of a relative or pics an ex boyfriend.
The company said, “We’ve applied a unique set of filters to Your Year in Review to reduce the chance we’ll show you a photo you don’t want to see. And for the photos that our algorithms don’t catch, we’re giving people control over the photos in their Year in Review.”
So if there is a photo in there that brings back some bad memories, you can remove it or add a photo you think more accurately represents your year.
