Laplink PCmover - Important Upgrade Information!!!!!

If you are at this page, then you must have gotten the paper that came with your PCmover:)
First, thank you for purchasing PCmover. It's a fantastic program we're sure you'll be happy with.
The CD that comes in this package is NOT the most current version of the software. The most current version can be downloaded from:
http://www.laplink.com/pcmover/update.html
If you are using this to transfer your files and programs to a Vista machine (like XP - Vista or 98-Vista), this is a required update. If you're going from XP to XP, then you can go with the CD or the update (We still recommend that you update it any ways).
In any case, if you're installing the update, there's no need to install the CD. Just download the update and install on both computers. During the process, you'll be asked for a serial number and given the option to buy one.
DO NOT BUY A SERIAL NUMBER!!! YOUR SERIAL NUMBER IS LOCATED ON YOUR CD SLEEVE!!!! DO NOT THROW AWAY YOUR CD SLEEVE!!
That is pretty much all there is to it. The software is really easy to us, but there is an UPDATED QuickStart Guide on the update page (given above), so be sure to grab that as well!
