iPads and kids go together naturally, so every parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle and older brother should make use of the built-in parental restrictions every iPad comes with.
Tap Settings>General, and then hit the Restrictions on/off slider. Once in the restrictions center, tap Enable Restrictions and enter a 4-digit code you’ll remember.
Note: You’ll need this code to access these settings later, so write it down somewhere.
From there, simply slide each apps permissions slider to on or off as you see fit. For example, I wanted to disable Safari, YouTube and iTunes (which disables Ping, too).
