Sandra finds some of her favorite features are missing in Windows 10.  She writes: Windows 10 did away with my internet explorer, my tool bar that I used and much more.  Is there any way to retrieve?

Internet Explorer is certainly not gone. Just type Internet Explorer in your search bar and click on the results or you can set up Cortana and tell her to “open Internet Explorer.”  You’ll find that your favorites and your history and your IE settings are unchanged. Your IE toolbars are still available as well. If you’re looking for another toolbar somewhere else, it’s probably still available.

Also open start IE is under Apps in windows 10 accessories.. HTH

  2. Mark says:

All my favorites are in Firefox but all I see is Internet Explorer and Chrome. I had to import my favorites from Firefox into Internet Explorer and then into Edge. Was there an easier way?

Rose is correct. Here are the click steps: Click on the Start Menu and when that opens click on All apps. When that opens you will see a 0-9 and a alphabetized list. Scroll Down to the W’s and you will find WINDOWS ACCESSORIES. To the right of Windows Accessories is a drop down arrow, click on that and the app folder will open a list below it. IE is in that list. You can RIGHT CLICK on it to pin it to your Start App Menu or Pin it to your Taskbar.

Clicking on Windows Accessories drop list gives NOTHING! Any other thoughts?

Do you mean that you see nothing at all or that you don’t see Internet Explorer? If you see nothing, it may be an issue with your Windows settings. I’d suggest creating a new account and logging in.

My internet explore is gone. error message says file cannot be found.
