The power button and the volume buttons are on the top of the tablet. To turn on the tablet, you need to hold down the power button for about 5 seconds. To unlock  the default lock screen, simply press on the lock icon and slide your finger to the right.

To connect the included keyboard, you may first need to use the included USB to micro USB adapter. Plug into the microUSB port on the tablet and the keyboard will be automatically recognized.

Here is the home screen of the tablet.

To make changes to the tablet, first tap the Apps Drawer button. You will see the following screen.

To move any of your Apps to the home screen, simply press and hold on the icon. This will allow you to move it wherever you want on the screen. If you’d like to remove the app from the home screen later, press and hold and an X will show up on the screen. Drag the icon to the X and it will disappear.

To set up your email, other than a Gmail account, tap on the email screen. To set up WiFi settings and other various changes, tap on the Settings screen (the black square with 3 blue horizontal lines).

When setting up WiFi connections, you will need to turn it on by tapping the On button. You will see a list of networks available to you. Tap on your network and type in the security code or password. If you’d like to see what you are typing, below the Password line, tap on the box that says Show Password. Then hit Done and Connect.

You can set your lock screen with a password or turn the lock screen off under Security. Be careful with setting a lock code, because if you forget it, it is almost impossible to unlock the tablet.

Under display, you can change how long the tablet will stay idle before turning the screen off. It is set at 1 minute by default. Keep in mind, setting a shorter time, such as 30 seconds to a minute, may make the battery last longer. However, each time the screen turns off, you will have to hit the power button and unlock the tablet.

To set the date and time, swipe up until you find Date and Time. There you can adjust the settings and find your Time Zone. Keep in mind that you need to swipe up or down in the Time Zone list to find your zone.

Also in the App drawer, you will find the Camera. You will see the camera screen open up. The white circle in the top corner will open up the camera options.

To switch between cameras (front and back) tap the camera with the arrows around it. You also have other options available in additional settings, such as Scene, where to store pictures, and Picture size. Keep in mind the rear camera will not work when the case is on the tablet.

To connect the tablet to your computer, simply plug the USB to microUSB cord into an open USB port on your computer. You will see a small icon on the top left corner of the tablet. Drag it down and tap touch to copy files to/from your computer. Then tap Turn USB Debugging On. Your tablet will then show up on your computer.

You can use a microSD card (not included) for extra storage. To insert this card, the slot is on the back of the tablet. Gently push down on the card so that it goes all the way into the slot. To remove the card, push down on the card and it will bounce up. Then you can remove the card.

To turn the tablet off, press the power button for 3 seconds. A screen will pop up asking if you want to turn the tablet off. Tap Power Off.
