Question: What Laplink cable do I have and is it compatible with the version of windows I want to use?

Answer: Please refer to http://www.laplink.com/support/kb/article.asp?ID=708 to determine if your cable is compatible with the version of windows you want to use. Older style USB 1.1 cables are not compatible with 64bit operating systems or Windows 8. Newer Ethernet crossover style cables are compatible with all versions of windows.
