Here are some steps on how to set up the finger print drive.
First, when you plug the drive in, you should see two new drives appear under “my computer” one of them you will be able to open, the other one you will not. The one that you cannot access is the one that is secured by the drive fingerprint scanner.
To turn on the fingerprint software, open the drive that you can access then run the file called “CruzerProfile.exe”
Once this opens, you will see a new icon by the clock for the drive. To set it up for the first time, you will need to click on the icon then choose Edit fingerprints. Go through the on screen setup and register your finger prints.
After you have registered your finger prints, you can use the drive. You should have access to the drive you could not open before on “my computer”. This is the secured drive for storing your data.
Finally, if you want to use this device to log into windows. Go back to the drive and double click on “CruzerLoginSetup.exe”. This will set up the windows login.
