To get started, insert the flash drive into your PC. Once the computer recognizes the flash drive, a window should open or, in Windows 8, a tab should appear that you’ll need to click. Select the option to view files and folders.
If no window appears, you’ll need to go to My Computer or the File Explorer in Windows 8/8.1 desktop mode and double-click the flash drive.
Once you can see the contents of the flash drive, you’ll want to double click the file called “Start.html” to begin the lessons.
Note to Firefox users – This program is not fully compatible with the Firefox web browser. If you have FireFox set as your default browser, when you double-click the “Start.html” file it will load, but it is likely the videos will not play as intended. In order to view the program, you’ll need to RIGHT-CLICK the “Start.html” file and select “Open With” from the resulting menu. From there, choose Internet Explorer, or if installed, Google Chrome or Apple Safari.
The menu below should open in your browser.
You can view any chapter by clicking or tapping the title.
It will appear in a window like this. Just select the Play button in the middle of the screen or at the bottom of the browser.
To view on your computer’s video player, select that option below the screen. To view full-screen choose that option on the lower-right side of the player.
You can stop or pause the video by clicking on the stop button on the control at the bottom of the player or by clicking on the play timeline button. You can also just click on that little button and drag it to move forward or backwards in the video.
You can see how many minutes you are into any give chapter at the right of the player timeline.
