One of the main reasons that I went back to school to get a degree was that my brain felt like it was becoming stagnant. I’ve always had a love of learning so I figured it would be a good idea to challenge it. When I’m on break between semesters, I still keep learning new things. One of the places I got to find new things to learn is Khan Academy.
They have over 2,700 videos covering a multitude of topics like arithmetic, science, finance, and history just to name a few. Then once you’ve covered a topic there are practice exercises that you can do to put what you’ve learned into practice.
Best of all, you can learn all of this for free! That’s right – for free. You don’t find that at many places. I know I’ve looked. I’d recommend that you start on the About page, because there is an awesome video that explains how the exercises work.
From there click on the Getting Started link and you can learn how you should go about starting to learn something from the lessons provided here. You’ll also find the FAQ in the same area as where you clicked Getting Started so that if you have any questions you can head there and get them answered.
You’re ready to start learning! Pick a subject, watch the videos, and do the practice exercises!
