I had a question from a reader who wanted to know how to make text larger in a Word document. She didn’t say if she wanted the text to actually be larger or if she just wanted it to appear larger when she was reading it.
To select the font size when you’re writing a document, click the Home tab and click the drop down menu next to the name of the font to choose a different size. Or just type the size you want into the box.
You can also increase the size of the font by selecting it and pressing Ctrl +Shift + > to increase the font size or Ctrl+Shift +< to decrease the size.
To leave the size of the font as it is in the document, but increase your viewing size, click the View tab at the top of the document.
Click the magnifying glass to zoom in or out.
Or go to the bottom of the page and grab the slider bar to adjust the view.
