Will that cool news smartphone you have your eye on phone work with your favorite carrier? Or about that great deal on a used phone, you found on eBay?
Find out at willmyphonework.net. As of this writing, their database covers 12,983 mobile devices and 1,044 carrier networks.
Start by selecting your brand and country.
Your model and/or submodel option drop-down will also appear. Most phones have that information listed in the settings under general/about. Once you make those selections, the carriers option will appear. Make your carriers selection then tap or click the search button.
Listings appear below the drop-down choices for 2G, 3G and 4G LTE networks. Even if you struck out on your desired scenario, don’t worry. You have options. Lots of them.
Go back to the carriers drop-down and select ALL (at the top).
Now select the search button again and look at your options!
This resourceful site has a great design/interface and provides plenty of help. They even have an icon legend that lets you know if a phone is compatible with a network carrier, some of a network carrier’s frequencies, or is not compatible.
