Microsoft says the much-buzzed-about Surface Pro tablet will be in stores starting February 9. Touted as a tablet/laptop hybrid, it uses the Windows 8 OS and will retail starting at $899. The Surface Pro will be available in 64GB and 128GB models. The keyboard that serves as a cover will cost between $120 and $130, depending on the model you choose.
Unlike tablets that only run apps, Microsoft promises that the Surface Pro will run the full PC versions of popular programs like Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop.
Microsoft also introduced some decorative touch covers that work with previously released Surface RT Tablet or the Surface Pro, and the Microsoft Wedge Touch Mouse Surface Edition for those who prefer a mouse to the Surface’s trackpad.
