Google Play has revealed the most popular apps of 2014.
It’s probably no surprise that Facebook was the most downloaded social media app despite concerns over privacy issues. Studies show around 80% of FB users use FB mobile and that Smartphone users check their FB apps an average of 14 times a day.
Streaming service Pandora Radio let the way for music apps and Trip Advisor was the most popular travel app.
For sports, NFL Mobile led the category while Netflix dominated the Entertainment field.
The fastest growing field was Health and Fitness with calorie and exercise tracker MyFitnessPal leading the way.
Not surprisingly the most popular game was Candy Crush Saga, folowed by Don’t tap the White Ice, Farm Heroes Saga, Subway Surfers and A Clash of Clans.
All of these apps are available in the Google Play store on your Android device. There are more than one million apps available for download in the Google Play Store.
