MyFitnessPal, a great little tool for counting calories and monitoring your activity just got a little bit better. You’ll now be able to sync it with fitness equipment at the gym to better monitor your exercise.
We gave it a glowing app review last year and now MyFitnessPal has partnered with Netpulse and Johnson Health Tech to make it easier to record your fitness data from gym workouts.
Netpulse is partnered with eight of the leading commercial fitness equipment manufacturers, which account for around 75% of sales to fitness clubs around the world. So there’s a pretty good chance the equipment at your gym will now work with MyFitnessPal.
Johnson Health Tech owns the Matrix fitness brand and MyFitnessPal users will be able to link their accounts to Matrix’s new 7xi cardio equipment within the next few months.
MyFitnessPal is available for Android, iPhone, Blackberry and Windows Phones. You can read the original My Fitness Pal App Review here.
Enjoy your exercise.
