I love this site! It makes it so easy to check and see if the username you want is available on a plethora of different sites all at once! I only wish I had found it when I decided to get into social networking to begin with.

How does it work? Easy! Just type in the username you want and then click the green chk button. It will then check 122 different sites to see if your desired name is taken. Click show all 122 to see all the results, it is set to default to just show you the most popular results.

If the result is green, your username is available, click the name of the site you want it at to go register it before someone else takes it. If it is blue – that means it might be available but the application can’t sort it out for you because there are private profiles on that site. If it is red – it means that the username you searched is taken.

This site is particularly wonderful for anyone just getting into social networking because you could check your username and then go get it everywhere. It is also great for setting up a blog, and social networking to go with it!
