NASA Sounds

Posted By Amanda On March 12, 2014 @ 6:34 AM In Cool Sites | 2 Comments

Today’s site offers up a bevy of sounds from historic and current NASA missions!

Navigation is easy! There are two introductory paragraphs you can read, and then you scroll down and all the sounds are right there waiting for you.

The important thing to note is that the M4R files have to be downloaded and played in iTunes. Whereas the MP3 files can be opened in your browser and Android devices.

The sounds fall into the following categories: Shuttle and Station, Discovery, Apollo and Mercury, Missions, Beeps and Bytes, and Sounds of the Future.

Another cool feature is that they give you directions for how you can set these sounds as you ringtone!
