In this article, we’re going to check out some of the new filters added to the popular, free photo-editing app.
First, let’s check out Lens Blur. This replaces both Tilt-Shift and the Center Focus Filter with a blur that can be adjusted to any shape you choose.
Tap at the bottom of the screen to choose circular or linear blurs.
Drag the circular blur with your finger into a shape to have precise control over the effect.
Glamour Glow was previously only available in paid versions of the app.
It allows you soften and add glow to images, similar to the Orton effect in BeFunky.
Tonal Contrast gives you some precise control over images
You can adjust high, low and mid tones as well as shadows and highlights.
Some popular options are also missing. The Grunge filter is gone and many users are not at all happy about that.
Besides the new filters, there are some neat changes to the Tools section as well. I’ll tell you about those in Part 3 of this article. Snapseed is available in the Apple App Store and in the Google Play Store.
