You all know about my love affair with crochet, but this summer I’m trying to learn how to knit as well. So, I am doing a ton of online searching for great places with instructional videos and descriptions to help me get the hang of it.
When I ran across this site, I knew I had found a gem. I also knew I couldn’t wait to share it with you! Not only does this site offer a new stitch a day, it also offers a section devoted to teaching people how to knit or how to crochet.
Navigation is easy! The site is setup blog style, so you just have to scroll down the page and the most recently added stitch will be at the top. Along the top of the page you’ll find the sections How to Knit, How to Crochet, About, and Request a Stitch.
If you’re visiting the site to learn how to knit or crochet, click into that section and then scroll down to the bottom of the page and select whatever page number is the last (for crochet page 3, for knitting page 7) and then scroll to the bottom of that page. Because it is setup blog style the more advanced techniques will be at the top of the page, so you’ll want to scroll down so that you can start at the beginning!
Is there a stitch that you’re looking to have explained but isn’t on the site? Then check out the Request a Stitch page where you can fill out a form to request that they cover the stitch on their site.
This is an amazing crochet and knitting resource! I hope you’ll check it out and bookmark it today!
