Quick Tip For Converting Currency
Every now and again we hear from a customer in Australia, Canada, or the UK who wants to know what the price of a product would be in their currency. If you ever need to check out currency conversions, you can usually do it a snap. Choose any search engine (for this example, I’ve picked Google) and just ask the question. A currency calculator should pop right up.
If you’re using Windows 10, you can just type the question in the search box or simply ask Cortana the question. If you have a smartphone, you can ask either your Google Voice Search or Siri to look it up for you.
Every once in a while, I'll come across a deal that I can't even believe. When I got a sample of these Thump Bluetooth Wireless speakers and tried it out, I checked the price twice to make sure the decimal point wasn't in the wrong place.
It sounded as good or better than those fancy speakers my brother-in-law spent a house payment to buy.
When I shut my eyes, I thought for a minute that the Rolling Stones were actually in my office. I opened my eyes and there was no Mick Jagger, just this tiny little audio powerhouse.
You can bet I called my supplier ASAP and said, "I'll take all that you've got!"
I read an online review of this amazing speaker that asked "Why does no one know just how great it is?" I don't know, but I'm sure glad they don't know yet, because then I wouldn't be able to give you this amazing deal!
Oh, and that tremendous value comment came from someone who paid $39.99 and not our amazing price of only $9.97!
How much do I love this little speaker? Let me count the ways!
Use a wireless Bluetooth connection or plug it in! That's right! It works with almost every device! Use Bluetooth to instantly pair it with your smartphone, tablet or PC.
Or plug it into any device with a 3.5 mm jack! The high-quality Bluetooth connection will give you crystal-clear audio.
Use It With - Phones, Tablets, Music Players, Computers. iPhone, iPad, iPod, Android phones & tablets, PCs, Macs - it works with everything!
Bluetooth or wired, it doesn't matter!
The technology on this tiny dynamo is astounding! The drivers are magnetically shielded to give you a dynamically tuned, full-range sound for less than $10 !
I know some of these little speakers just sound like you're using a tin can on a string. Not this one. You have to check out the deep, tight bass! I've never heard anything like it at this price.
Just recharge the built-in lithium-ion battery via USB. But don't worry, you won't have to do it often. You'll get up to 6 hours from one charge!
This compact, sleek beauty fits right in on your desk without taking up room or right into your pocket, purse or backpack to go anywhere.
You have to hear it to believe it! These amazing little speakers are the best-kept secret in audio. So SHHHH... don't tell anyone. At least until after you've ordered a few for yourself at only $9.97!

Find An Ad Blocker For Chrome
A reader wanted to know the best place to find an ad-blocker: “I would like to add an Ad Blocker to my computer, I have a Dell All in One, running Windows 10, and my browser is Google Chrome. Can you recommend a good free Ad Blocker?? And will I have to be a computer Geek to install it?? I am SO sick of all the ads slowing down my viewing web pages.”
What you want is an extension for Chrome. An extension is a program that only runs inside the chrome browser. The quickest way to find one is to type this in your Chrome address bar and hit enter: chrome://extensions/
A window displaying your installed extensions will open. You’ll want to click on Get more extensions at the bottom.
The Chrome web store will open.
Type “ad block” or “ad blocker” in the search box at the upper left of the page. Press enter.
You’ll see a list of available programs.
To the right, you can see the average rating of the product and how many users have downloaded it. Click on the star ratings to read the reviews.
Click More extension results to see even more ad block options.
Just click Add To Chrome to install.

Build Your Own Android App
Nowadays, you can find an Android app for almost anything: Calling a taxi cab, reminding you to take your medicine, counting your pulse, counting the number of steps you walk every day, managing your bank account, and even putting together a plan for a balanced diet.
Have you ever thought about how all these apps are created? Or even considered creating one yourself? Let’s look at how it’s done.
Android is an operating system, much like Windows or Apple’s iOS. So far there have been 10 versions of the Android operating system. You can find out the OS on your Android device by going to Settings>About Phone> (Tap continuously) Android Version.
The programs that run on the Android operating system are called apps. Some apps have helped develop entire industries. Let’s take a look at Uber. Business for the popular taxi service is conducted entirely via an app. Users place orders for taxis, pay for the ride with credit or debit cards, and are alerted that their ride has arrived, all by an app on their phone.
Android apps only run on the Android operating system. Android apps are available in the Google Play store. In fact, millions of apps are available there. So how are all these apps created?
Well, it is not that difficult. One could create an android app using any of the following applications...
Internet Connection Drops In Sleep Mode
Do you lost your Internet connection when your laptop is in sleep mode? We've got a soluton.
Since your laptop is designed to frequently run on a battery as a portable device, rather than a docked station constantly connected to an electrical outlet, it needs a way to conserve power. The “sleep” mode is one such option, which puts the computer into a suspended state in order to save battery life. If your laptop’s network adapter is currently active, such as when you are connected to a wireless Internet source, then the battery will be drained at a faster rate.
The Windows operating system automatically turns off your network adapter when sleep mode is activated, and then turns it back on when you tap a key or press the touchpad. If you don’t want to have to wait for the Internet connection to be re-established when exiting sleep mode, there is an option to prevent your connection from dropping. Keep in mind however that this will drain the battery faster, so it isn’t recommended if you aren’t leaving your laptop plugged in while it sleeps.
To get started, navigate to the Start menu and locate the “Computer” button. Right-click the button and select “Manage.”
Click “Continue” if a prompt appears asking for your permission to open the window. Click the “Device Manager” entry located at the left side of the screen underneath the “System Tools” heading.
Find the “Network Adapters” option located in the list of entries at the middle of the window. Expand the...

Tech can catch your bad habits
Everyone has a bad habit they can’t seem to quit, and each year, people vow to rid themselves of it. The problem with a habit is you often aren’t aware of it: it’s ingrained in your behavior and patterns subconsciously. This year, hold yourself accountable—or recruit a partner or friend to help you stay accountable. Consider installing an indoor security camera in your home or office to track yourself and catch your bad habits.
At the end of the day, review the feed—alone or with the partner you recruited for help—and see how many times you browsed social media, bit your nails, or smoked a cigarette. Indoor security cameras are small and discreet tech that can help you track your habits and successfully stop them.

Unhistorical An Amazing History Site
I love history, which is why I ended up double-majoring in English and History. So it makes me very excited to discover a site like this that takes a look into the history and culture of the world.
Navigation is fairly straightforward. Just scroll down the page to read the most recent articles. Unlike other blog style sites, you’ll find navigation to older posts is found beneath the left side menu. The menu contains the sections Archive, Ask, Tags, FAQ, Recommend, and About. Just below that you’ll see a listing of numbers. Click on the number or arrow to navigate back through the archives.
You’ll find all sorts of fascinating articles on history and culture here like gerrymandering, the founding of the Dutch East India Company, and Operation Meetinghouse, just to name a few. The posts can be text, images, or text and images – but they’ll always have something to do with history or culture.
I think this is a great site and hope you will too! Enjoy exploring!

At one time or another we've all wanted to quickly create a greeting card or flier. But most programs are so complicated, there's nothing quick or easy about the process. It's complicated and overwhelming. Or maybe you want a nice brochure, calendar, or a poster for an event.
