Like magazines, but tired of issues piling up? There’s an app that will let you access over a 100 magazines a month without causing any clutter. Next Issue works like a NetFlix for e-Magazines. It allows you unlimited reading of selected magazines on your tablet, phone or computer with a monthly subscription fee.
The Unlimited Basic plan offers subscribers access to 109 magazines for $9.99 per month. Included in that plan are Allure, Architectural Digest, Better Homes and Gardens, Bon Appetit, Bridges, Consumer Reports, Cooking Light, Cosmopolitan, Country Living, Eating Well, Elle, Every Day with Rachael Ray, Family Circle, Glamour, Geek, GQ, Shape, Southern Living, Popular Mechanics, Traditional Home and more.
Unlimited Premium offers access to 121 magazines for $14.99 a month. The Premium plan includes access to The New Yorker, People and Time, Bloomberg Businessweek, Entertainment Weekly, Golf World, Hello, Macleans, Newsweek, Sports Illustrated and Us.
The app is available for free in the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store or at www.nextissue.com, but you do need the subscription to the service to access the content. With a new subscription you will have access to all previous issues of the magazines dating back to January 2012.
You can also select monthly subscriptions of magazines starting at $1.99 per month or buy individual issues. If you have a copy to a print edition of a magazine featured in Next Issue, you may also be able to verify that subscription to receive the digital issue for free as well.
Many publications also offer bonus content for subscribers to the electronic editions. If you are a person who buys a lot of magazines and enjoys reading electronic editions, you could stand to save a lot of money.
It also cuts down on magazines that you’d just end up throwing out or recycling.
