If so then I’ve got a quick tip that really doesn’t have anything to do with productivity… instead we’ll take a quick look at an option for how Office, well… looks.
Unknown to most of us – because, after all who has time to look for it – there are program color schemes to choose from in Office 2007.
So, while many people don’t care, I do know that many people do like to choose what works best for them. For some, it’s just a simple matter of what’s easiest for them to use without eye fatigue (the default bright blue just gives me a headache) and for others it’s a more of a thing about needing their own “style”.
Whatever your reasoning, I’m glad to say that you do have a choice but sorry to say that it’s limited to only three.
Let’s go and take a look.
Start at the Office Button and click the Options button for the program you’re working with.
The Options dialog box should open to the Popular section.
Go to the Color scheme field and choose from blue:

silver:

or black:

Finally, click OK to give your Office programs (yes, one change affects them all) a completely superficial face lift!
