One to Ten Days

I’m sure most of you who use MS Outlook’s calendar know that you can customize exactly which days are displayed by highlighting them on the mini calendar.

But what if you aren’t very fond of the mouse and you’re looking for a quick way to change what you’re seeing with just the keyboard?

I’m sure some of you have wondered about that at some point, so today, I have a suggestion that will give you quick access for displaying one to 10 days, all with just a couple keystrokes.

All you need to remember is Alt + Number.

The “Number” I’m referring to would be the number of days you want displayed, starting with the day that’s currently selected.

There are a couple extra pieces of information you need to know:

  • First, you have to use the number keys at the top of your keyboard. The numeric keypad to the right does not seem to do the trick for this one.

  • Second, while displaying one through nine days is pretty obvious, in order to display 10 days, you have to use the zero.

There you have it. Calendar display control that doesn’t require a mouse!
