Here’s yet another little feature of MS Office 2007 that some of you might find useful.
When you’re formatting objects such as SmartArt, ClipArt, Pictures, etc. using the Format dialog window you don’t have to close the dialog window to go back to your file and switch between objects or even edit your text/data.
That is to say… if you have an object such as a SmartArt selected and you open this dialog window to do some formatting
and you’d then like to do some of the same formatting on a ClipArt you do NOT have to hit the Close button… you won’t get the usual blinking dialog window that lets you know it must be closed before moving on.
Instead, all you have to do is to click on the ClipArt (or other object) and the dialog window will change to offer the appropriate options.
While this doesn’t work with every dialog window you’ll find in the Office 2007 Suite it sure is nice to see the blinking dialog window a little less frequently.
