Every time I open a new window, it opens small rather than full screen. I have searched the Control Panel, but have not found how to change it. Is there anything I can do?
Normally, any program you use on your computer should always open in “maximized” mode, so the window is fully visible across the screen. However, some programs remember your window settings and may open fully minimized or only half open in “restored” mode. Taking care of this problem is a quick fix that only requires changing a simple setting in the program’s “Properties” window.
Before changing the setting controlling how the program is opened, be sure to open and then fully maximize the window. Click the “Maximize” icon, which is marked by a small square, in the row of three buttons at the top-right corner of the window.
