A new and important aspect of having an identity on the internet is curating it so it reflects your best self. This is especially true because of the role that social media plays in both job searches/networking and getting hired once you’ve interviewed, because these days anyone can Google you or do a quick search on social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to do further research on you as a job candidate
Persona is free for a limited time and wants to help you put your best foot forward by helping you manage your online identity. I originally signed up for this service to make sure I didn’t have anything that would look bad if a graduate school googled me. But all of my accounts came out in the clear with no flagged posts!
I would start your visit by clicking the Watch our Video link beneath the Sign Up button. It shows you how Persona works, and how it can help you clean up your act! Even if you were just to use it before doing interviews for a new job, I think it would be worth it.
Then scroll down the page and check out the other information they’ve provided. To register, click the Sign Up button and choose the free edition. Then fill out the form with your name, email address, and create a password. Next you’ll read the Terms and Conditions. Then you’ll connect your social networks, and it will scan for posts to flag for you to review. It’s just that simple!
