Today, I stepped outside and it was simply gorgeous. The sun was shining, the air was warm and there was just a slight breeze. It made me recall how the weather was when my family and I would visit Put-in-Bay when I was younger. I’ve been there on school trips and with my friends too. It also made me remember the ice cream store there, so when I came back inside, I had to make a stop at my freezer on the way back to my computer to get a bowl of ice cream. So, today, I want to share my love of the island with you. Here you can see lots of amazing photos of Put-in-Bay!
Going through the many photos here is like revisiting the island for me, so I know that you’ll feel as though you’ve visited it after you’ve seen them. You can even check out the island in all the seasons of winter, fall, spring and summer.
For those of you who are lighthouse fans, you can see pictures of the light house there as well. You get a whole set of images, from both the light tower and the house. Both exterior and interior!
How do you navigate this site? Well, I just went down the list of images and was delighted. But, you could just read the descriptions and check out what you like. There are several categories to choose from as you go down the page.
For example, aerial views and seasonal views. I highly recommend checking out the Cooke Castle pictures as well, because they were very neat and there is a link there to a site that is all about the castle’s history.
No matter how you choose to view the page, these pictures are fantastic. Enjoy!
