When Mac users were introduced to OS X Mountain Lion, we gained the capability to be a little more hands-on with our MacBooks or trackpads through Gestures. While this seems like a small change, I can say from personal experience that getting familiar with these moves can definitely help increase your productivity.

Here are a few of my favorites:
- Pinch to see all of your safari tabs at once
- Spread your thumb and three fingers apart to view your desktop
- Tap a word with three fingers for the definition of that word
There are quite a bit more. To see how they’re performed, open trackpad, mouse preferences or check out Apple’s description.
