As you may recall, a couple weeks ago, I wrote about a security issue concerning Apple’s QuickTime multimedia program. That problem was pretty severe and was starting to cause a lot of trouble for users. Well, for those of you who keep up with these things, Apple has released a patch for that issue. Yes!
The patch will fix a couple of security issues within QuickTime that you may have read about or maybe even experienced yourself. They include a fix for the .qtl file problem I wrote about and there’s also a fix for the RTSP movie issue that has been discussed on a few other Web sites.
To get the patch, you can visit this Web site. When you get there, just click the Download arrow on the right and choose Run. From there, you’ll be all set and secure. Until next time, stay safe out there, my friends!
