If you want to look at the web in a whole new light, try This online encyclopedia has all the facts and information you need, but it presents them in a unique visual format that will keep you coming back for more.

Each Qwiki is a slick multimedia presentation that typically lasts for no more than a minute. It includes a picture slideshow, subtitles, and a voice-over narration. Popular topics include animals, monuments, historical figures, movies, and natural wonders, but many more useful categories can be explored here.

The Qwikis might be a little on the short side for some, but in reality, this is what makes the site so successful. The goal here is to provide only the most essential facts associated with each subject. Making the Qwikis longer and more detailed would likely not hold your attention for as long.

Qwiki is still in an Alpha phase, so that means they are still developing and working at improving their site. It also means that you too can be involved in improving existing Qwikis. Simply click the ‘Improve this Qwiki’ button above each Qwiki, and you can suggest a picture, rate the speed of the narration, report mispronounced words, and suggest a related YouTube video.
