What’s the latest news you have for Windows Vista? Inform us, please!

Have no fear! A Windows Vista update is here! Along with what was discussed up above in today’s quick tip and what you’ll see down below in the tip of the day, today is just going to be all about Vista. So, if you haven’t already gotten enough information about the new operating system, I’m here to fill you in. I hope you’re ready for this, because this is big news! Here we go!

Believe it or not, but Windows Vista will be released by Microsoft at the end of this month! The beta version of the program was completed awhile back and was released to major computer builders, such as Dell, eMachines and HP, as of December of 2006. The full version of Windows Vista will be officially released on January 30, 2007. The release of Microsoft’s new operating system was pushed back two weeks in early December due to some minor flaws.

Windows Vista will be available in several editions (from lowest edition to highest edition), including: Home Basic, Home Premium, Business, Enterprise and Ultimate. Computer users will be able to purchase a full or upgrade version of the operating system, so that they will be able to upgrade their Windows XP computer to Windows Vista. Microsoft hopes to have at least 40 percent of all computers in the world running Windows Vista by the end of this year.

So, what is this Windows Vista Express Upgrade program that you may have heard about? Well, the Windows Vista Express Upgrade program is one of the best deals that has ever been offered by Microsoft. Most computers that were or will be purchased from October of 2006 to March of 2007 are available for a free upgrade to Windows Vista.

The Vista edition that you are able to upgrade to depends on the Windows XP edition that the computer you purchased has running. If you have bought a computer within this time frame and it came with the option to join the Express Upgrade program, I highly recommend that you order your free copy of Windows Vista. Even if you don’t plan on using Vista right away, you might as well take advantage of this offer. However, make sure you order your copy of the Windows Vista Upgrade before March of 2007.

Besides all that, now is as good of a time as any to start preparing yourself for Vista. That is, if you want to. Microsoft has been up and down with the release of this, but it’s finally here. I know a lot of you will jump on the wagon right away, while it may take others of you awhile to even get used to the idea of having a new operating system. Either way, Vista is worth a try and if not that, at least learn as much about it as you can. All of the important information can be found on the Internet. (There is more about this particular topic down below, so keep reading!) You can either start to take it all in or wait until all the hype dies down, but either way, Vista is here.

Take it as you wish.
